Για τα EuroSpeleo Projects που θα απαρτίζονται μόνο από Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες, ο κανόνας μένει ίδιος: πρέπει να συμμετέχουν φορείς από 5 χώρες που να συμμετέχουν στο συμβούλιο της Ευρώπης (όχι μόνο χώρες μέλη ΕΕ, αλλά και Τουρκία, Ρωσία και άλλες).
Ο νέος κανόνας αφορά τα ESP με συνεργασία Λατινοαμερικάνικων χωρών της FEALC (www.fealc.org) ή χώρες από την περιοχή AME (Αφρική και μέσω Ανατολή). Συμπεριλαμβάνονται όλες οι χώρες της Αφρικανικής ηπείρου και τις χώρες της Δυτικής Ασίας μέχρι τα σύνορα Ινδίας και Κίνας. Ο κανόνας έχει ψηφιστεί για να ενισχυθεί η συνεργασία μεταξύ χωρών μελών της FSE και των περιοχών αυτών.
Από τον Φεβρουάριο του 2011 και για όσο χρόνο κριθεί αναγκαίο, για τα ESP που συνεργάζονται με χώρες FEALC ή AME, ο ελάχιστος αριθμός χωρών που θα συμμετέχουν θα είναι 3 αντί για 5. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι θα χρηματοδοτούνται ESP με:
- μία χώρα FSE + 2 FEALC ή 2 AME,
- ή 2 χώρες FSE και + 1 FEALC ή AME.
Προσοχή: οι αιτήσεις για χρηματοδότηση πρέπει να ληφθούν στο contact@eurospeleo.org τουλάχιστον 4 μήνες πριν την αρχή της αποστολής.
Οι χορηγίες παραμένουν ίδιες στα 400 Ευρώ (ελάχιστο ποσό) και για τις αποστολές εξερεύνησης: 500μ σχοινί Beal και 500 Ευρώ υλικά AV(Aventure Verticale) και ένας φακός Σκούριον (Scurion).

Dear Caving Friends,
This message to give you the new rules adopted by the FSE Bureau during its last meeting for the EuroSpeleo Projects (ESP) including an international cooperation.
For the ESP projects including only European countries, the rule remains the same : the ESP projects should gather at least 5 European countries. As European countries, we mean countries members of the Council of Europe = every country of the whole geographical Europe, members of the EU or not, including Russia, Turkey and Iceland.
The new rule concerns the ESP projects in cooperation with either LatinAmerican countries from the FEALC ( www.fealc.org ) or countries from the AME area. AME area (Africa & Middle-East) comprises every country of the African continent + all Middle East countries up to the Chinese and Indian borders. The new rule hereafter has been established in order to encourage the organisation of speleological projects between FSE member countries and these 2 regions of the world.
So from now on and as long as it will be necesary, for the ESP projects in cooperation with FEALC or AME countries, the minimum number of countries is not any more 5 but it has been established at 3. This means that it can be an ESP project with :
- either one FSE country + 2 FEALC countries or 2 AME countries,
- or 2 FSE countries + 1 FEALC or AME country.
Be careful, since 2010 the ESP applications have to be sent to contact@eurospeleo.org at least 4 months before the begining of the project.
The ESP grants remain unchanged at 400 euros minimum per project & for the exploration projects : 500m of Beal rope + 500 euros of AV(Aventure Verticale) gear + 1 Scurion lamp.
